About Us

Ballet Barres West

is owned and operated by

Charles "Chuck" Johnston, a

semi-retired character dancer.

He started making barres for

friends while dancing with a

company.

Today, he continues to build

barres while still guesting in

the roles of Drosselmeyer,

Rothbart, Dr. Coppelius,

Mother Simone, Kastchei,

and Don Quixote.
